India will start their 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup journey by playing against New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium on Friday. The big match against Pakistan will take place on Sunday, October 6.
This is the ninth edition of the tournament, with ten teams competing from October 3 to 20. The teams are split into two groups, and after the group matches, the top two from each group will reach the semi-finals.
India is in Group A with Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. After playing New Zealand and Pakistan, India will face Sri Lanka on October 9 and Australia on October 13 in Sharjah.
India comes into the tournament confident after winning warm-up matches against the West Indies and South Africa.
