The England cricket team is set to tour Pakistan, starting with three Test matches from October 7 at Multan Cricket Stadium. The second Test will also take place in Multan, and the third match will be held at Rawalpindi.
Before this, Pakistan visited England for a four-match T20I series just before the T20I World Cup 2024. Two of those matches were rained out, and Pakistan lost the other two.
Shan Masood will captain the Pakistan team, with Mohammad Rizwan as the wicket-keeper. The squad also includes Babar Azam, Abdullah Shafique, Saud Shakeel, and Saim Ayub. Sarfaraz Ahmed is the backup wicket-keeper.
Ben Stokes will lead the England team after missing the Test series against Sri Lanka at home due to injury. Young players Josh Hull, Shoaib Bashir, and Rehan Ahmed are included in the squad. This series will be the first overseas Test series for talented players Gus Atkinson and Jamie Smith.
