The series will begin with three one-day matches in Puducherry, followed by two four-day matches in Chennai. All matches are scheduled to start at 9:30 AM IST.

    This series will be notable for the debut of Samit Dravid, son of the legendary cricketer Rahul Dravid, who recently concluded his tenure as the head coach of the senior Indian men’s team. The 18-year-old is expected to be a key player for India U-19.

    Mohamed Amaan from the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) will captain the 15-member one-day squad, while Soham Patwardhan from the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) will lead the team in the four-day matches.

    Samit Dravid, along with Samarth N (KSCA), Nikhil Kumar (UTCA), Chetan Sharma, Mohd Enaan, Kartikeya KP, and wicket-keepers Abhigyan Kundu and Harvansh Singh Pangalia, have been selected for both formats.

    India vs Australia, Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 Schedule is announced by Cricket Australia. The five-match Test Series is scheduled to start on November 22, 2024, at the Perth Stadium. This was the stadium at which India registered a historic win in the last Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test Series held in Australia. Currently, India is the defending champion in BGT as they defeated Australia in the Test Series, which was played in 2023 in India.
