Hazlewood is currently ranked No. 2 in ODI, No. 7 in T20I, and No. 2 in Test cricket in the ICC Men’s Player Rankings. He has won major tournaments with Australia, including the 2015 Cricket World Cup, the 2021 T20 World Cup, and the 2023 Cricket World Cup.
Hazlewood started playing for New South Wales at 17, making him the youngest fast bowler to represent the team. He made his first-class debut in 2008 against New Zealand at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Two years later, on 22 June 2010, he became the youngest player to debut in One Day Internationals for Australia. Hazlewood also played for the Australia Under-19 team and was part of the squad for the 2008 Under-19 World Cup.
