    Ramandeep is the only child of his parents. His father, Hardev Singh, was a renowned international cyclist who represented India in the Asian Games and the Asian Track Championships. However, Ramandeep was not interested in cycling. He decided to become a cricketer after India won the T20 World Cup in 2007. His family supported him and encouraged him to pursue a career in cricket. Ramandeep completed his schooling at Mount Carmel School in Chandigarh and later obtained his bachelor’s degree from Chandigarh University. However, he was never really interested in academics and focused mostly on playing cricket. He received professional cricket training from coach Sukhwinder Tinku.

    Ramandeep started playing cricket at the age of 10. His father helped him hone his skills and sent him to Sukhwinder Tinku for cricket training. While still in school, he began participating in district and state-level cricket tournaments. After five years of hard work, he secured a spot in the Mohali Under-16 team and scored two centuries in the Punjab Inter-District Championship. He then played for the Mohali Under-19 team in the Punjab Under-19 Inter-District Championship in 2016 and represented the Mohali team in the Katoch Shield tournament in 2017. Following this, he showcased his batting talent in the Under-23 category, which led to his opportunity to play for the Punjab team.
