Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier Schedule 2024: The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled to take place in September 2024 with Bangladesh hosting the mega ICC event. Few teams are directly qualified for the prestigious tournament, while some of them aren’t yet confirmed and will be determined via Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2024.
Bangladesh Women qualified automatically for the global event as they are the hosts of the tournament, and Australia Women, India Women, England Women, New Zealand Women, South Africa Women, West Indies Women and Pakistan Women are the rest 7 teams that have qualified.
As per reports, 23 matches will be played during the tournament including the Final, throughout the group stage, every team will compete against the other four teams in their respective groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with the semi-final winners being the two teams that will book a ticket to Bangladesh.
United Arab Emirates will be hosting the qualifiers and the whole tournament will be played across 2 venues, Sheikh Zayed Stadium and Tolerance Oval. There are total 10 teams that will play against each other for the remaining 2 spots in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. The teams are divided into two groups, A and B, and the groups are as follows:
