The 2024 Copa do Brasil is happening now, it’s the 36th edition of Brazil’s domestic cup. It started on February 20th and will end on November 10th, 2024. São Paulo won the last one and they’re defending their title this year. Just like before, the winner of this cup gets into the 2025 Copa Libertadores, the 2025 Copa do Brasil, and the 2025 Supercopa do Brasil.
On January 30th, 2024, the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) conducted a draw for the first and second rounds of the Copa do Brasil. Teams were divided into eight groups based on their national ranking. Matches were decided with group A facing E, B against F, C versus G, and D taking on H.
